These two really need to meet, not that it will come out well blackenedchaos January 19 2010, 02:35:09 UTC
[And here happens to be one of those defilers of the forest, though to give him credit, he did leave the deer he killed violently to be eaten by carrion and return to the earth after he got what he needed. Of course, he did destroy a tree because a human was hiding behind it.

Still, the smell of blood is indeed going to attract this demon during one of his trips to the forest for his own prey to tide him over until he can indeed find a human to kill.

Moro is welcome to come upon him, he's not hiding himself, he's just enjoying the sweet smell of blood. And I'm totally fine if he gets attacked by her, he is a demon after all and that is bound to happen.]

[Nope, she's gonna troll you instead.]

A little bold to cross my path, devil boy.

[He'll enjoy it. He's bored stiff out in the desert which is seriously lacking in entertainment.]

[And wow, giant wolf there, though Yuber definitely doesn't find himself overly surprised at the size, more that such a creature exists here. The non-human population is pretty small overall.]

The smell of blood was too sweet to ignore.

Leave my forest. The humans may be fools to cradle you, but I will not tolerate such a stench in my territory.

The humans can do nothing about me. They are weak and pathetic. If you want this as your territory, then entertain me as you show you can hold it.

[Why yes, the demon understands the rules of nature, territory belongs to those who are strong. If Moro doesn't want a demon on her turf, then she's going to have to drive him away and prove she's strong enough to hold it.]

[She doesn't need another word. She won't stand for a demon in her presence, and she leaps at him with jaws agape to crush him.]

[His two swords appear out of nowhere as he jumps back to avoid her.

And then he's going to circle around to attack her at the side with a slash of his sword. He may be small compared to her, but swords can hurt and he is very fast too.]

[I'm gathering you only want potential injury here? He will teleport back to the desert if his life is threatened, and I'm totally cool with him being injured also, it happens a lot.]

[Attacking at close-range is possibly the most foolish thing you can do. She manages to swing her jaws and attempt to close them on the small fleshy body attacking her.]

((OOC: Injury is fine - Moro's been SHOT and SET ON FIRE long before she quit trying to murder, so it's up to Yuber when he gives up.))

[It works on dragons though. But obviously this creature is far more intelligent than the normal monster. He's moving back to avoid those teeth and just narrowly avoids them. There may be a few bits of cloth stuck in Moro's teeth now, but sadly no demon flesh.

And Yuber's got more than just those two swords to fight with. He's going to get back enough to get a decent range in for a spell from his Thunder Rune.

It will take a short bit of time before the spell is ready, and it will likely appear to be a very good opening. Once the spell is ready, it will appear like a ball of lightning that will shoot out numerous bolts at Moro, they can be dodged, however.]

[Dodge? Nonsense. It's a shorter easier path to grab you head-on, since electricity isn't going to stop her.]

[He doesn't care if it stops her, as long as it harms her. Injure enough and anything will die in time no matter how powerful it is. It is just a matter of being able to survive long enough to do that.

And even while casting he can still attempt to dodge her jaw and teeth. He will continue to try and stay out of the way of claws and teeth even while casting, though his movement isn't near as quick and agile while he does so.

And then the spell finishes and about six bolts of lightning will come towards her. Some will miss automatically since Moro is moving, what does hit won't hurt too much, it's a low level spell meant more to test if it does harm. Why waste a good spell if electricity does not harm her?]

[There's the distinct scent of burning flesh and blood galore, but Moro isn't even slowed down as she moves and snaps her jaws repeatedly, intent on getting a grasp at something to rip off.

He wasn't going to leave in one piece, as far as she was concerned.]

[And that smell was going to make this demon very happy indeed. Well, except the burning part, since Moro does have fur and burnt fur is not exactly a pleasant thing.

Still, he wasn't going to give up easily, because even if he does lose, there's little chance he's going to stay outside the forest. True, he's basically claimed the desert as his own territory, but it is lacking in creatures that shed blood to suffice until he can find a human to kill.

He's going to keep backing up, but Moro is definitely gaining ground on him fast. He's preparing another spell, a far more dangerous one this time.]

[ooc: If San wants to hop in, that's fine by the way! I'm totally cool with anyone wishing to threadjack.]

[Moro wasn't going to give him the time. As big and bulky as she was, she wasn't a slow creature, as all that bulk constituted muscle, and hundreds of years of life had given her flexibility and strength that warriors could only dream of.

She moves to close the distance by leaping closer, bounding so that she would find him in her jaws before he could finish a spell.]

((OOC: Ignore HTML fail up there >>; And MAYBE. Maybe. Since Moro is intent on snapping him in half and will likely chase him down if he starts running, San may have a good opening to try.

And any strikes against San would be all the more reason for Moro to try and eat Yuber :') Oh these silly crazies.))

[And with Moro's sheer size, there was really only one way to avoid her jaw and he wouldn't be able to get the spell in by doing so.

Doesn't mean he's not going to try, he will try to finish off the spell up until the moment that Moro's jaw is about to chomp him in half. But right before she gets a good grab on him, he disappears, only to reappear about ten feet behind her.

This was getting annoying fast. His speed just wasn't effective against something so much larger than him, so even the Eight Devil Rune probably wouldn't help much, though he was more likely to get a hit in with that that wouldn't end up hurting him. But it was a one shot deal and didn't work as well here even against humans.

But this would be the best chance while he could catch her off guard. So two copies suddenly appeared to attack Moro and his main hope was that they would get something in before the large wolf noticed.]

[ooc: Quick explanation on that attack, it basically literally makes copies of him, they attack along with him and then disappear. ( ... )

[Ten feet behind Moro is a good place, as far as San is concerned. She can spring out at him from here without her mother biting her in half. She has the advantage of seeing the copies, and the element of surprise. Masked and armed, she leaps from behind Yuber to try to tackle and stab him. The smell of burning fur and wolf's blood tells her how powerful he is more than anything else]
