Airport transportation coordination: Part Two - the volunteers
Hi everyone! Time to start arranging rides for people to and from the airport.
A. If you need a ride, the place to sign up for that is here. Please do that now if you haven't already. If you know you want a ride but you haven't booked your flights yet, that is totally fine, but go comment to let me know that so I know how many people I need to plan for. (Also, N.B.: I am assuming that everyone wants to be at the airport an hour before their outbound flight unless they specifically tell me different.)
B. This post is asking for volunteers to drive people! So far I know we will need drivers from the airport to Issaquah Wednesday (3/28), Thursday (3/29), Friday (3/30) and Saturday (3/31), and drivers from Issaquah to the airport Sunday afternoon (4/1), and Monday (4/2). Please e-mail me at romantical (at) sigma957 (dot) com if you want to volunteer!! I need the following information:
1. When you are available to give rides. Please be as specific as possible!
2. How many rides you are willing to give, whether you would be willing to drive on more than one day, etc.
3. How many people fit in your car.
4. Your cell phone number if you have one.
5. Whether you would be willing to be a pinch hitter, i.e. if someone can't make it at the last minute or a flight is delayed, if you are willing to be available on a particular afternoon/morning/whatever to be on call for rides.
