All the various little segments were great, but my favorite has to be the last one. The message isn't something to protect him or make his job easier, it's meant to restore faith and belief. It wasn't made to aid him physically, but mentally and emotionally.

That Howard, realizing he probably wasn't going to find Steve himself, left a note of that kind for him is telling. The amount of faith he had that Steve was still out there, and that he knew what to say is very poignant.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I wanted Howard to be helping Steve in a deeper way, and I liked the notion that even though Captain was lost to him he never believed him to be lost forever.
