Crush Meme

Gakked this from saintvic, in an attempt to actually post something without mentioning Dean Winchester.

Crap.

Ah well, let's proceed anyway:

The idea is to post between 5 and 10 of your teen-y crushes, with or without images.

So -

somewhat eclectic selection of manliness )

We're clearly of the same era, me dear..*g* Though my thing was for blonds at the time - David Soul and John Schneider rather than paul Michael Glaser and Tom Wopat. And Doyle rather than Bodie. Though now it's more Bodie. Hmmmm..

And well done, you only managed to mention Dean once.

So have a smokin' hot icon as your reward.

*stares*

How is it even possible to be that gorgeous? Seriously, I'm beyond obsessed now!

I'm really quite surprised I never went through a Doyle phase, especially in my teens when I was all pretentious and intellectual. But nope, it was Bodie all the way!

I think it might have been more than once, actually, but can I keep the icon ayway? *bats eyelashes*

I only watched the Dukes of Hazzard a few years ago really and I admit to a bit of a thing for Bo. Made watching Smallville rather strange afterwards I have to say.

Bodie: Hell yeah! He's mine, I tell you, MINE!!
*raises eyebrow*
Think Doyle might have something to say about that.

And Airwolf!!!! God I wanted to be able to fly and I wanted KiTT from Knightrider as well.

Great list luv, although Monkey concerns me slightly.

Oh I am going to assume you are still enjoying Supernatural then....something is giving it away.

Ooh, thanks, I'd forgotten that connection. I was just reading this J2 AU fic (maybe not something I should be admitting in public, but hey) where he was the main baddie - I get it now!

Yeah, I loved KiTT. Fancied the car a lot more than the Hasselhoff.

Um, yes, still kind of into Supernatural a bit. In the same way as I'm slightly into breathing. I JUST CAN'T STOP WATCHING!!!

I can understand that. The most recent episode I watched from series 4 (on ITV4) is just one of the most moving things I have watched in a long time (actually nearly cried). I recorded it and have watched it 4 times now. And.....okay I don't know where you are up to and don't want to spoil so I'll just stop there. *pets Dean*

Was that this week's? I watched about 20 minutes of it, then wrenched myself away. I'm trying really really hard to wait until I can buy the box set before I watch S4, but I'm failing pretty epically and am now spoiled beyind the point of pretending to myself any more! In the meantime, I'm watching S1-3 on a loop.

For the record - fave eps so far: Born Under a Bad Sign, and Mystery Spot. Odd, now I think about it, they're both Sam-centric. And yet my heart is completely owned by Dean.

Luke! I still love Luke. (Yes, well, what can I say?) The actor grew up in a town not that far away from my home town. *g*

Hawke is the character's name from Airwolf. Not someone I fancied, but I did enjoy the show on and off.

And, sheesh, it's not fair that some people get to mention Bodie (or Doyle) in their teenage crushes....*g*

Hawke! Of course - it's all coming back to me now. I have no idea whatsoever what I was thinking with that one - I must have been on hefty meds for several years, is the best theory I can come up with. Maybe I was just so completely fascinated with the uber-wrinkly neck that I got sort of drawn in!

Luke's a sweetie. Fact. I keep picking up the DVDs in the shop, and then putting them down again, because I don't think my heart could take it if I saw him and was disappointed.

Well...okay, I wouldn't admit this to many, but...yes, I do own most of the DVDs. *g* Because, you know, it's Luke! If you were going to get one, I"d recommend the second season. ("The Ghost of General Lee" is one of my favorite episodes.) Go on.... *g*

And sold! I'm going to risk it. Besides, I reckon the kids'll love it.

(I know what the outcome's going to be, though. I'm going to fall in love with Lucas Ducas all over again, get completely obsessed and be seeking out Hazzard-related fanfic before I know where I am! And it'll be all your fault! ;) )

Very nice list. I agree completely with Bodie and Murdock (the same reasons) and I can see most of these -- I always preferred dark haired/brooding men myself but you lose me rather with Vincent and the music ones.

Oh and now I have the theme to Monkey Magic stuck in my head... Egads!

Hee! Ridiculous show, ridiculous theme song - and yet, strangely wonderful!

I lose me with Vincent. Mad. Quite mad. *shakes head at self*

I'm glad I'm not alone with Murdock, though - Bodie's more obvious in terms of his sheer deliciousness, but Murdock didn't half brood nicely when they let him! There's something just so attractive about dysfunctionality... :D
