My mobile rang yesterday afternoon and it was N and I was thinking "now what?". I picked up and conversation as follows:

Me: Ello?
N: Hey Y (he called me by my Chinese name!!!) How are you?
Me: Me? Good, not bad. Same old. What about you?
N: Ya, ya I'm good. Look, I need a favour. Can you help me?
Me: What? Shoot?
N: You know starch?
Me: Starch?
