wah u want a summary ah? long story short, harry potter's parents were killed by lord voldemort and after 7 books, he finally killed lord voldemort and saved the magical world.
harry studies in hogwarts magical school and his best friends are ron and hermione. at the end, harry gets together with ginny (ron's sister) and ron and hermione hook up. their friends in school were luna, neville longbottom, dean thomas etc. ron is the youngest boy in the family, his brothers are charlie, bill, percy and fred and george (the twins)
dumbledore is the headmaster of hogwarts. snape is a professor in hogwarts and so is mcgonagall.
harry's parents are james and lily potter who both went to hogwarts. snape was best friends with lily potter and attended the same school too.
