You should write about the details, even if it's just only for your eyes. There's something to be said for journal therapy, and how it helps us process the trauma.
It doesn't really sound like it was your fault anyway. So, don't weigh yourself down with responsibility.

ugh. I feel your pain. I fishtailed on some ice a few weeks ago and ran my husband's car into a fence. Me: okay Car: not okay. sucks majorly
My biggest problem now (besides paying for fixing the car) is getting back in the car to drive (I still haven't taken on that challenge). I'm still feeling rather incompetent on the driving front.
eeek scary! i probably would have done the same thing. i hate how trucks barrel through the snow. i have been in 2 accidents while driving in the snow and one was when a truck passed me and the other was when a truck was behind me being impatient. my nerves are nuts enough without watching risky drivers in my mirror the whole time!
