Either these weren't sad, or I'm losing my ability to sob at the drop of a hat. Very nice, if one can say that about killing off House. :)

lol House has died so many times it's not even a sad thing anymore.

Well done. This section especially slayed me:

The light began to fade and House felt his body shaking. He heard pounding, but that was beginning to fade away as well. House slowly closed his eyes as he realized that his price for this answer would be his life. Now there was no way he could let any of them, especially Wilson, learn what was so important about that night, who they were actually supposed to save.

House did have to admit that he was not surprised that his life would end with him falling short yet again.

Yes,I love that scene too, but I'm not sure if I was able to portray it correctly. I was aiming for House finally getting his sought-after answer, but is unable to tell anyone. :\

Thanks :) I was trying to bring all of House's near-death experiences together, but have him still die expectedly. lol If that makes any sense.

I've not been reading much in the House fandom anymore, but I saw this and decided to give it a read. SO glad I did. Fantastically written, and an interesting exploration/summation of death situations House could have been in or was in. Really good! You should be super-proud of this.
