Was in Montana for almost all of January. Only had four days at home all month, so now that I'm home, I spent some much needed time in my sewing room.

I made blocks for aphoenixrain, mkissa, and blueskyeyez.

I'm glad you think so! I had fun making them, and decided that I most definitely need more reds in my stash! :)

The blocks all look lovely. I had to have a little giggle at your comment " I see no point in paper piecing blocks that I can make out of squares and triangles" as i love PP and will always try and PP a block in the first place and will only resort to traditional piecing if i have to!

Haha...I am a strip quilter at heart! I will be the first to admit that I want everything pieced and together right away because I'm too excited to see the end result. I'm also funny in that I love the way hand quilting looks in comparison to machine quilting, and yet, even though I *almost* refuse to machine quilt, I get extremely bored with hand quilting, and thus have a whole roomful of half-quilted projects. :)

Look forward to receiving mine, they will go very nicely with the rest I've gotten so far...

You should receive them soon. Sorry they weren't more "scrappy", I learned that I also needed more pinks in my stash, too. And the browns that I have looked kind of hideous with the pinks, or you'd have seen more of a selection there, too.
