SCOTUS has given us several lovely gifts recently, although things aren't looking so good in many other parts of the world (Tunisia for example).

Congratulations on posting those fics! I certainly know what it's like to post a completed work, excited and pleased, and then have it be greeted by silence. My current fandom isn't that small, but it does seem to have dwindled, and it's very fragmented in terms of characters and pairings, so my fics sometimes get kudos but rarely comments. Also, and maybe this is just me, I feel like the culture of commenting that used to be common on LJ has never really taken hold on the other platforms. People give you kudos (or the equivalent) but don't tend to initiate conversation about the work (there are exceptions, of course). I miss belonging to a community that provides both encouragement and constructive criticism pretty reliably.

Are you participating in Remix this year? I find that in fic fests/challenges, folks tend to offer more feedback.
