I've been terrible about keeping up with your blog, so I'm only now reading a lot of these posts. :( Brilliant con report, though. I definitely agree that there's more good fic featuring women (het and femslash), including from slash authors, than there was a few years ago. Do you happen to remember what the consensus was about rare pairs (she asks, three months late) - do people tend to write them as OTPs, or more often as experiments
