Yesterday when Jay and I got home from Merrifield Garden Center I noticed what I thought was odd behavior at the bird feeder. There was a male Goldfinch hanging upside down from the bottom of the feeder. When I approached the feeder the bird did not fly away and I quickly determined that he was stuck. I ran inside and got the step stool and called

We some birds nesting under our porch roof. They're not robins, but I wasn't able to get a good look so I could describe them to you.
