Ouran High School Host Club

Has anybody ever read the Ouran High School Host Club Manga or seen the anime? Is it good?

I started downloading the anime today. I've never watched an anime before, but I've heard so much about Host Club I'm hoping it's a good place to start. (From what I've heard of it, it sounds like it's a pretty big anime.)

I love Ouran High School Host Club. I've read the manga and watched the anime. They are both good, though the manga, of course, is better.

All of the boys in the host club learn that Haruhi is a girl by the end of the first episode. They just keep it a secret from the rest of the school.

There isn't really an OTP in the anime, though in the recent chapters of the manga, it has starting laying the foundation for an OTP to occur.

Oooh . . . it sounds very cool! I've been reading the manga and I'm up to the third volume so far. I think they're up to the 9th volume in America (Though I think the 10th is coming out pretty soong?).

Please tell me the OTP is Haruhi/Tamaki, lol.

Oh, yes. It's a lot of fun, and the anime's fun to watch, too, as they put in funny little sidenotes and commentaries on various things. I checked, and Volume 9 is out in the US, but I didn't see any mention of when 10 will be out.

Yes, the OTP is Haruhi/Tamaki, which actually makes me sad as I'm not fond of Tamaki and I'd rather see Haruhi get together with Kyoya. You also don't see the OTPness happening with Haruhi until at least Volume 11 or 12, so be prepared for that.

Hmm . . . I think if you go to Borders/Barnes & Noble, you can preorder Volume 10 and it will supposedly be shipped in early February. But who knows if that's even right, lol.

Kyouya? I suppose I could see that. I took a sneak at the scanlations of volume 10 yesterday and saw that one of the twins (Haruki?) starts liking Haruhi! I suppose I could see Haruhi with him, too.
