Though she strongly preferred to be left alone, the many assignments left to complete before semester's end had Raven feeling caged in her dorm room. The normally quiet, reserved, green-clothed girl ran abruptly onto the roof behind Raven only moments later. The still broken rooftop door was hurled open with more than a bit of a crash, quickly swinging back closed. No words were spoken, and she didn't bother to stop and greet Raven, but simply continued her way towards the fence once her eyes had cooperated. Her hands weren't quite quick enough to grab the photo flapping in the breeze before it left the chain links again into the air. Though her position would have seemed precarious, she quickly leapt over the fence in a supernatural arch and reached her fingers for the picture before it could escape over the edge of the building.

(OOC: It's looking like neglected characters week! Or month.)

Not yet having time to even begin her meditations, Raven spun quickly around to see her green-clad classmate running through the broken door and across the rooftop. As she rushed past, Raven's eyes focused in on what she was chasing...a small piece of paper caught on the breeze. She stood idly by, doing little but silently watching until she saw Kalinka leap over the fence, placing herself dangerously close to the edge as she stretched for the item barely out of her reach ( ... )

Kalinka looked to Raven as if she hadn't noticed her yet at all, hanging on to the fence by one arm. Her fingers wavered at the glance, but she quickly recovered herself and caught on with the other hand. Kalinka honestly hadn't thought twice about falling several stories ( ... )

Raven walked over to where Kalinka stood hanging onto the fence, still holding the snapshot of Kalinka's mom. Though she was somewhat surprised when the girl reached for the picture immediately instead of climbing back over to safety, she did not try to keep the photograph out of her classmate's reach ( ... )
