I don't know if you are on here much, but I just had to comment on this post. I just recently discovered this book by recommendation from my sister, and I LOVED it!
I think Mary Crawford could have been better developed (I wish Brinton had explained Mary's change a little better since it was hard to see the transition from Mansfield Park to this book. I also didn't like the way she portrayed Captain Wentworth. He felt a little too mean.
Like you, I loved Georgiana and her love story. It was sweet, and I was a little surprised at the pairing that Brinton chose for both her and Kitty Bennet, but I think they both worked out well.
