My post of squee

So, the little country bird went to the big city last week, and had a fabulous time!

I went to stay with the lovely aisling_door  and her family on Long Island.  Such good people.  Her dad immediately started treating me like one of the family, including admonitions to "Eat! Eat!", and I got to meet her younger brother and the bulldog.  Her mum was at a reunion ( Read more... )

Thank you!
It was DEFINITELY one of those "remember forever" trips....and I really have to remember, since I was so caught up in the experience that I didn't want to take a step back from it to use a camera LOL.

Now remind me when you're going to Ireland...I hope you will be better about piccies than I was

Have you written about the camera? What kind is it? Sorry to be snoopy, but I'm in the market for a digital that takes really good up-close photos, but isn't the size of a small child

*huggles you tight*
Thank you so much for the vicarious squeeing!
The only thing that could have made it a better week is if you could have been there.
Birdie luffs and misses you.
I'll see you this coming weekend, though, yeah? (sorry I didn't offer a place to stay--couldn't find out when housemate's dad is coming in, and when she was having her bf's kidlets over. *sigh*)

I'm glad you had a good time!!! My mum keeps telling her friends how wonderful you are. Trust me, she understands your squee-ing over Le Alan due to her infatuation with Colin Firth.

And I most definitely deserved being dragged out in the cold for you to get a signature; I dragged you out to the Cloisters and it most definitely DOES state that the museum isn't open on Mondays *grumble grumble*

Still, I'm so glad you came out!!! My older brother will likely never be the same...

LOL@ your mom. She CERTAINLY knew which buttons to push. *giggle* I totally miss your family. I miss you more, though. Wish I could have put you in the suitcase. It would have made Derek positively gleeful.

I saw him last night, but forgot the letter *facepalm* Ah well, excuse to see him again SOON.

Thank you so much, my dear, for taking such good care of me. I luff you to "the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach"

It sounds like you had a lovely trip. I'll have dig about the ARLLL coffers and see if I can find the stock of "I Saw Alan" pins.

commemorative pins FTW!!!
My friend Bella sent me a pin not to long ago that reads "I ♥ Alan Rickman" *giggle*
I did have a lovely trip. I miss aisling_door so much! We talked about you! Did you feel the warm huggly vibes? Also, do you still want to do Rickmarathon II?
