1) Does anyone do anything to remember veterans or active duty military personnel?

2) Is there anyone who wanted to join the military? Why or why not?

3) Is anyone a pacifist or anti-military?

4) Has anyone ever attend anti-war rallies?

5) Has anyone blocked joining the military? or What is like to be plural in the military?

(Thanks to chorusRead more... )

1) Honestly, not a damn thing. Not since I started reading biographies from veterans and realized the stupidity of it all.

2) Never! Cadets and the military are both forms of doing stupid things for stupid people who want stupid things.

3) I'm anti-military, but I couldn't really call me a pacifist...I'm too pro-communist at times (if only the greed of men wouldn't make communism so bad...)

4) Nope.

5) Oh yeah. I have people inside who would prolly join but...there'd be too much resistance from those (like myself) who cannot agree. So...we stay out of each other's way the easy way.

I raised a glass with my housemate who's a veteran of the Korean war; Kír posted something on one of his communities.

2) Is there anyone who wanted to join the military? Why or why not?

Kír says it was not that he wanted or did not want to join, but that it would not have occurred to him that he had any choice in the matter.

3) Is anyone a pacifist or anti-military?

Kír is anti-war but pro-military. I'm anti-war, not so much anti-military as anti-chickenhawk-politicians. None of the three of us are pacifists; we will all fight back if attacked.

4) Has anyone ever attend anti-war rallies?

Dozens. I'm the one who goes; Kír doesn't think they do any good.

5) Has anyone blocked joining the military? or What is like to be plural in the military?

Not us.
