I avoided the net yesterday except for NOLA. I didn't want to read accounts or thoughts or accusations by people who weren't there. A year ago yesterday, we were in Montgomery, Alabama. We didn't watch tv. We didn't listen to the radio. Honestly, I don't remember a lot of the day

You were in Montgomery? We were in Birmingham.

We were in New Orleans for the last Mardi Gras before Katrina. It became much more poignant after the hurricane.
