OMG YOUVE MADE ME SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIKE OMG SO HAPPY. I WELL AND TRULY LOVE THIS FIC. LIKE I HAVE NO WORDS. Also Bruce? May I smack you with a large heavy stick? In the head. Because seriously? Tool! LMAO, anyway. Happy happy joy joy.

And lastly minor typo towards the end. Hair =/= heir Lionel turned his hand to try to grab his son's wrist in kind-his only son, his only hair-but all he felt was the slide of too-smooth skin against his fingertips, and a shout was ripped from his throat as his jacket cuff tore, and Lex was sucked out of the hatch at an impossible speed.

I loved the beginning - it set the tone of the story perfectly (I haven't read the whole story yet, but I couldn't contain my curiosity and skimmed through it, and it seems to be particularly angsty!). I really felt for Clark in that first scene. I couldn't help sharing his exasperation with his parents' stubborn insistence that selling their *home* would be for the best and their refusal to admit that the situation was as painful for them as it was for Clark ( ... )

Chloe's initial reaction to Pete's confession was heartbreaking, but absolutely plausible and understandable. Of course it should hurt like hell to realize that both your boyfriend and your best friend had been lying to you for years. And it always hurts to feel left out ( ... )

I'm so happy that you're still enjoying the story; so thrilled that you like where the characters are going. I'm especially glad that you like Marcia's character development, and that Chloe's decision sat well with you.
