Did you know I reread this ENTIRE thing every time you post a new part? I don't know why but I do.
ETA: Why do you put dashes between to and night and to and morrow??
ETA2: You know its not till I get to "Merging Onto the Highway part 2" that I remember anything. Like when Clark and Lex are having the conversation about what Lex is doing and Clark says something to the effect of "So in short you're trying to save the world" I remember "Oh this is the one with the fish sticks quote, I need to find that book" but not until "Merging Onto the Highway part 2" do I remember and anticipate the things to come. And I'm like OMG so *in song* excited.
Oh, dear. LOL That's a lot of reading. I'm flattered!
ETA: Thanks for asking! ^_^ I think of it as a tribute to Donne and Doyle-they both used the dashes, which were also in regular use as late as the early 20th century, and I've always liked the look and sentiment of them. :)
ETA2: Hey, I'm with ya. I wrote this stuff, and half the time when I'm rereading, I'm going, "Heeeeey, I forgot about thaaaat!" That's what happens when a series has been in process for four and a half years. LOL!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the series... repeatedly! ;)
Finally made it to the new part and OMG. I am honestly saying this, poor poor Sebastian. I feel so bad for him. And Marcia, I just want to hug her so much. Pete, Chloe and Clark are all stupid for various reason. If I were Pete I would have dragged Chloe to Clark and been like "Either you tell her or I am" not just out right tell her because THAT is going to blow up so bad. If they thought Clark was mad about Chloe telling Lois he was gay they haven't seen anything yet. I still can't get over poor Sebastian and Marcia. And I don't even want to talk or think about the Kents and the college situation. In short I can not WAIT for the next part to go up.
I'd always wonder, I figured maybe it was something that either I hadn't learned in school or a non American thing like spelling grey with an E and not an A.
Is the book you were referencing about the cod, Cod: A Biography of the Fish that Changed the World by any chance?
Thanks for all your comments! ^_^ I'm so glad to hear what you're thinking about all the various characters' situations.
And I love your icon, btw. LOL That's exactly what MTS-Chloe wants to be. ;)
Grey is just a personal preference, along with my hyphens and my various British spellings. Gray is an American spelling variation on the word grey. Maybe best expressed as: "Gray is a color. Grey is a colour." heh :)
That is the Cod book I was referring to, yes! :D You've read it?
I'm so happy you posted a new part. I'm planning to savour it for as long as I can, and then I'll write a lengthy review.:) I already know I'll love this, though. Thanks so much!
I think it’ll be better if I post my review in parts because, like I said, I’m planning to read as slowly as possible (I want to savor it!), but at the same time I’m dying to let you know how much I’m enjoying this.:) I apologize for all mistakes I’m undoubtedly going to make

Thank you so much for all your comments! I just love hearing what you're thinking about the piece as you go forward. It's so true that when reading a large piece, it's hard to get to the end of it and go, "Okay, so what did I think?" because it just kind of comes down to, "I thought it was good," "I thought it sucked," or, "I thought it was meh." So I really, really appreciate you taking the time to do this. It just warms my CLexy little heart. ^_^

::is happy:: ^_^
>>I appreciated the irony of poor Lex thinking that the loss of Segeeth and Naman is a tragedy<<
LOL I'm glad. I thought it was funny that while Clark had never liked the damn thing, Lex just viewed it from an "ancient priceless relic" POV. If only they realized what it represented...
>>your Jor-El has a lot more of a personality than the Jor-El of the show does... )
I'm glad you like my comments! I have to say I just adore this series. It’s absolutely amazing, your characterizations are spot-on, the plot is exciting, the relationships are believable - it’s giving me everything that the show didn’t. And it’s not just the CLex, it’s every character and their personal journeys - you made me care so much about all of them

ANOTHER marriage proposal?:)) Didn't know my poor attempts at reviewing had such a seductive power! ::is happy::
Seriously, you're doing such a great job with this story that I think I could blather on about it forever. All your other stories are amazing, too, I just wish I had the time to review them all!:) I cannot thank you enough for all the positive emotions your stories evoke in me.
