I'm obssessed. This is such a fantastic story. I check for you regularly and even after you update, I'm like, "Nooooo." This was just so wonderful. I love so much of this story I hardly know where to start. You've made such an impression on me, I mean I've read some of your other stories(and I love them all) but I've never had the chance to read them as you write them.

The story is so intrinsically woven, and your imagery... I've teared up a lot reading this story(MTS too). I feel so sad for our Lex, he's trying so hard to achieve that 'perfect' future. It breaks my heart, and yet despite that I can see the danger he will pose. He's already blaming Clark for this. There was just the way he said, when speaking to Kal, goosebumps... I wish I could say more but I'm at school and I have to go home and read if I want to maintain my GPA up there. I can't wait for your next update.

I'm so very glad that you're getting so much out of the story, really feeling it as it goes along. Hearing that this one-and MTS-have brought that emotion out of you really makes me just thrilled. I do so very much enjoy your comments, so thank you for leaving them for me to read. :)

Keep on cracking on that GPA! ^_^

This is beautiful. Lex's evolution during this story has been so touching. I'm looking forward to the next update, but I'm worried it's going to break my heart, seeing Lex back in his own time with those fifteen years ahead of him.

Jeez, only one left? Aw,man.

But, this one was great. Such a range of emotions, here, too. The giddiness of that conversation between Kal and Lex about his relationship with Clark, then the somehow disappointing knowledge that Lex was to return to his present. . . and, God! how awful that the other timeline's Kal stumbled into that. . . killing his Lexx, inadvertently. Man, you brought tears to my eyes on that one. I had to re-read it a couple times. And also, the ending of this chapter actually seemed, if not overtly happy, sort of hopeful. Lex will get back there again, someday.

Great job!

Thanks so much!

how awful that the other timeline's Kal stumbled into that

I'm really glad that moment got to you, and that you took the time to reread, as well. That was sort of meant to be the 'twist' moment in this chapter: Kal having no idea what his other self had inadvertently done, as well as that other self not knowing. When I think of it, I can't help wondering what the first Kal's reaction would have been if Lex hadn't changed the timeline and Kal had eventually discovered the reason Lexx's cells had so quickly deteriorated with no warning. Short-term, I imagine that what was left of the Fortress wouldn't have been around much longer, but it's the long-term that really makes me sad.

sort of hopeful. Lex will get back there again, someday

That's a really nice way to think of it. :) Thank you so much for your comments.

Ohh, this is so interesting. I can feel Lex's frustration because he can't shorten the time, but then there comes the understanding of what Kal did and why the first Lex died and I just adore that there can be convolutions and plot twists that are so elegant.

Can't wait for more.

I'm so glad you're still finding it interesting! :oD And thanks very much for calling the plot twist 'elegant.' That's a really nice thing to say. :)
