It does but I would take it with a big grain of salt. If you dig a bit deeper, what the the underlying article (which came from another pop science website) says is that when surveyed the answers indicate that people practicing polyamory say the communicate more and and gave answers consistent with not being unstable messes. It's not that we are healthier, it''s just that we're not automatically damaged because we opt for ethical non-monogamy.
Polyamory isn't fucked up. Monogamy isn't fucked up. There are functional and dysfunctional relationships in each paradigm. The thing is that the people who tend to be the most visible are the ones who are doing it well or those who are messing up.
