I had a libido on zoloft because it made me manic....so definately had one, but I couldn't come to save my life. I heard wellbutrin has less of this side effect... ?

Holy crap, you got off Lexapro? :O Did you have the normal withdrawals associated with it? I've thought about getting off of it myself, but I've heard the withdrawals are awful... some people have wound up hospitalized. When I tried in the past I wound up with muscle spasms, really bad sweating, and REALLY bad aggression issues

I hated hated hated Zoloft. It killed my sex drive. And it did the same thing for a friend. They just took me off Zoloft (cause it was for anxiety for me) but for my friend they shifted her meds around and put her on lamictal. It worked well for her.

Also as my therapist put it... zoloft is the ibuprofen of mood drugs, it's prescribed for anything. But it's also really mild, so you should be able to come off without withdrawals. They didn't wean me when they took me off, just took it off. I had no problems.

I've been on Zoloft for years. It hasn't affected my sex drive as far as I can tell. I'm still pretty enthusiastic any chance I get.
