I'm so sorry you're going through all of this right now. I was miserable but it does get better... I promise you.

Talking helps a lot. I'm glad you posted. Well if you need to keep posting please do... there are more people here that can relate to that.

Brain zaps, at least as I understand them, are more like your foot twitching after it's been asleep for quite some time. It's not so much like a "blinking" as it is a "oh fuck, this one nerve is twitching and it's fucking painful". My psychiatrist has informed me this is most likely due to a reduction in serotonin.

As always, YMMV.

your zaps sound like mine. a buzzing in the brain. mine were accompanied by a sort of head rush and strobe light affect. quick but terrible. i think out of all the side affects my zaps lasted the longest but lessened enough to make it more bearable. i hope it all goes quickly for you. going on to a new med actually helped me a lot so maybe it will help you too!
