Hi! I'm Stephanie, and I'm from southern CA. I lived in La Mesa most of my life! (I peeked at your profile - it's something I do when people say they're from SoCal)
Sorry, it's just rare to find people that have even heard of La Mesa, let alone have actually lived there. :P
That sucks about the Klonopin. I really hope I never have to take it.
Dude, I used to live in El Cajon! Of course I know where La Mesa is! I went to high school at Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley do you know where that is? In fact, I went to elementary school in La Mesa at La Mesa Christian school! Small world!
Currently, I live more on the central coast than southern cali.... but i guess if you were to cut the state in half north and south i would still be south haha. Nice to meet you cupcake
I went to Helix. I played water polo a couple times in the Monte Vista pool. We won. ;)
Also, my freshman year in college (in Colorado), there was a girl in marching band (yeah, I was also a band geek :P ) that had gone to Monte Vista and played on their water polo team. Weird, huh?
Welcome. Have a med question. What does your mixture do you for you? Seroquel is usually a sedative while Abilify amps you up, do you take one at night and one during the day? I'm on lamictal, lexapro and seroqul. Pdoc is wanting to change seroquel to abilify. Also what is provigil?
First off, Provigil is speed. It's controlled (CIII).
I take seroquel and klonopin at night to sleep, and then the abilify, lamictal, provigil, and cymbalta during the day. I take those meds during the day because they are all stimulants as far as my body goes.
The lamictal and abilify anre mood stabalizers - i consider these the most important meds I take.
Cymbalta is an antidepressant, which helps with my depression.
Provigil is a stimulant, which also helps with my depression (I tend to be way more depressive than manic). Provigil is a breakthrough med for me, it gives me the energy i need to get things done and function and work.
Klonopin is the devil, i'm severely addictedd to it. It used to work, now it does nothing but stop me from withdrawaling.

Definitely a small world.
Nice meeting you, too.

I take Klonopin and Seroquel. Works for me so far. Everybody is different.
Sorry it doesn't work for you. Benzos do suck.
I wish you luck finding the right cocktail!
Be well.
