That is indeed a very nice bit of book. And sure enough, Rumshawken NY is not on the map (at least not on Google Maps). The vicinity of Rye, NY, however, seems sufficiently urbanized that it would be difficult to hide a town nearby.

Pouring your heart out into a vacuum? That's definitely not one that I included in my term paper on methods of capital punishment. Sounds cruel and unusual, though--are you okay?
