My first day as a real librarian tomorrow *spazz* I am so unprepared. One of the faculty members from the school to which I liaison is taking me out to lunch. I have to be professional and adult and seem like I know what I'm talking about!!!!1

To be paid at a librarian's salary and do the job, you need to have your Master's of Library Science (some places call it Master's of Information Science). It's generally a two year Master's.

My school didn't care what your bachelors was in; of my friends in the program, we had majors in biology, business, English, and general studies. I don't know about other programs though :)
