No place more exotic than my home town, Sugar Land, Texas. Classes are over, so I'm taking a month off to study for GRE, read like eight books for this class (my first grad class, I'm very excited), talk to a mess of doctors, and eat my father's cooking.
Not too bad of a plan, really, though I sorta wish I'd been able to spend my intersession as I origionally planned (visiting schools in Boston and the surrounding areas, then going to Mostly Mozart in NYC). But I've got plenty of time for adventure, I suppose.
i should start keeping a log of things i overhear in everyday life. for example, i was in ontario this past week, and i overheard a seemingly crazy older woman yelling "where is the magic?! where is the magic?!"
