WoW midnight release

Sooo..we went to Gamestop last night for the WoW Wraith of the Lich King midnight release shindig, and it was pretty cool. There was this really tall guy in a black wizard robe with a troll mask on who kept walking around and giving/transferring sour candies to/from peoples' chalices. He was cool. Developers were there to sign posters, but only

I'm strangely not that eager to try death knight (and I'm one of those people who has one char of every class *g*). Maybe because I'm such an extremely casual player these days, and levelling the characters I have seems more feasible. But I'm so looking forward to exploring the new zones - from what I've seen I'm expecting to be blown away by the look of them.

Yeah, I hear you - I want to level my main to 80 but at this point, it might be a while! (After my DK is 80...) I can't wait to go to Northrend omg. I might've asked you this before, but, what server do you play on?

I'm on the European Emerald Dream server. I used to play a lot a year or two back (Molten Core a couple of nights a week, guild raid leader in ZG), then I moved and got a new job and stopped playing altogether for almost a year. I'm back in the game now, but only play now and then. Used to raid on my night elf priest when I was really active, but I've mostly played my dwarf hunter since Burning Crusade came out, so I think she'll be first to make 80.

I've always thought it would be neat if people wore face paint as a more everyday thing, instead of attempting to make their make-up look natural, which is doomed to failure from the outset.

I am sooooo jealous you got to go to a release party!! We didn't even have any midnight openings near us! Grrrrrr. But I picked it up yesterday over lunch, installed last night and spent waaaaaayyyy too long playing with my DK. I am in love with the DK's - and I thought I'd hate them.

Now I'm never going to get my hunter to lvl 80...

aww...yeah! I was looking on the WoW site and reading about the midnight release parties and our city was the last of the four announced, lol. I was like OMG WE HAVE TO GO. I love DK's too...it's the dreadstead maybe? I don't know. The armor? SO PRETTY.

Now I'm never going to get my hunter to lvl 80...

lol, same here with my druid. I'm going to level her only after my DK is 80...right now she's all PVP'd out.
