So I'm just browsing through LJ, and suddenly the page darkens and this message appears:

"Once the ad ends you'll be returned to your LiveJournal experience"

This is the first time this has happened to me.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Is LJ allowing more intrusive advertisements? ):

I've had that going on for months on my RP accounts...when I'm using school computers. I have adblock on my personal one so they don't bother me.

They are hella annoying though.

I've been getting it for like a year.

and I get it on my iphone and it's so frustrating.

it pisses me off cause I have like adblock, so it just makes my screen dark and nothing happens..

Me too- In fact it happened as I looked at my friends page and I just saw your post in the background. I managed to X out of it though.

But... dang, annoying.

Yeah it's weird cause the message appeared, but no ad popped up >_>

It would be a bitch if they made you watch the ad before you could close it, like bloody ads before you watch a youtube video.
