You called it Mummy in China. That's awesome.

We're so going to take Jacob to see WALL-e when it comes out. You should come....if you don't mind watching a movie with a 5 year old.

It really depends. I like Jacob, but I hold movie watching as a sacred ritual. These two things might be incompatible.

He'd be alright I think if we stuck a huge bucket of popcorn in his lap. One thing I've learned about little kids...they can't talk if they're shoving food in their mouths.

The court calls Leppy, who is both childlike and can talk with his mouth food.

I think it may be something that you may want to feel out. Perhaps, you could rent it and give it a second try, as I remember a weird editing bit, but not that extreme.

I have not heard anything conclusive yet.

I never saw Batman Begins, but I will have to to see The Dark Night.

The Mummy is a definate, though Tim probably won't go with me, cause he thought the other ones were dumb. Cause he sucks.

The Happening is on the top of my list. I heart M. Night.

Wall-E will be a Jack-and-Mommy date, most likely.

Bets one how many of these I actually see? Yeah.

I feel that movies are both things that can be done for entertainment, and that some movies go beyond simple amusement to reach an ascendant level of inspiration through art or story. The Mummy is the former. It's fun, but I don't really look to take away life lessons, or walk away inspired. At least it's not the most horrible film ever shat out of a vulture's backside (The Golden Compass).
