Raccoon adventures

Friggen raccoons. I went to throw some stuff in the garbage just now and found the can knocked over and crap spilled all over the front porch. I was scooping up the dry stuff and resealing the can when I noticed a raccoon peeking his head around the front gate. I casually walked over to him and he casually walked up a tree. He gave me a guilty

The thing about raccoons is that when you interact with them you soon realize that on some level they are smarter than you. Which is an odd thing to realize when you are dealing with, as you appropriately described a "waddling fur-ball"

You're right, they are pretty sharp. They can open up almost anything, even if it's tightly sealed.
