Right. Lynn has to do this to set up the situation, and in doing so, she makes them look like complete idiots who don't know even the basics about locking and unlocking things.
In her mind, she knew which one one was which. The question I am curious about is whether Lynn would agree with the syndicate colourist that one of the girls is a woman of color.
Exactly. If done today, it would be an interesting sort of story about why, given two very attractive women, Mike and Weed would be going after the blonde girl and ignoring the other girl. In this comic strip, the only interracial relationships have been with Lawrence and every man he has been with, and then Elizabeth with Constable Paul Wright. Once Elizabeth booted away the good constable, it was clear that Lynn had a "like with like" attitude. That was only compounded when Paul Wright was saddled with Susan Dokis and then Eva Abuya was immediately attached to Duncan.

Knowing her, she didn't think it was necessary. As it stands, we have Blonde and Brunette, not Jodi and Kit.

She should have just called them that; at least we'd know who was who.

The one I showed is the only time Jodi and Kit are not mentioned at the same time.

It's common sense to have your keys on you even if you aren't driving.......which is why they don't have'em.

Which takes us out of the story......again.

So true. When you hope Mrs. Dingle clocks Michael solidly around the head not for waking her up but because Michael desperately needs it.

You can do a "character" search on "Kit." I think she's the blonde.

I did a character search on both Kit and Jodi and each came up with the same set of comic strips.

Yup, I realized that belatedly. It does seem that Lynn didn't bother to differentiate.

True. However, given the way Lynn feels about mixed race relations as demonstrated in her comic strip, that would limit Mike and Weed's choices.

They'd be fighting over Blondegirl.
