Tray

All I wanted was a simple plastic tray like the ones in the food court.
I tried a lot of stores. K-Mart, Home Depot, Sears, JCPenney, Lazarus, kitchen stores . . . .
I didn't find one.
I don't want to pay much, I just want to replace a little tray I have that is getting rusty with something more washable.
Anyone have any fresh ideas?

I have a wood bed tray from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Works for us for what we need it for - plus the legs help it be a good lap tray.

I have a wood bed tray too, but it isn't really washable. I would like something plastic that will fit the dishwasher. The kind of trays used in food courts would be just right for this application.
Thank you for the suggestion, however. I forgot BBB.

Hi Bink, I just found out you have a journal :)
If you don't recognize the handle, ask around.
Hint: I used to date bk2w ;-)

Anyway, a couple years ago donutjay and I got a gift from someone that was a sort of picnic set. Pitcher, cups, bowls, and a TRAY. It was from Pier 1. It's a nice solid plastic, not cheap looking at all. Of course, that being said, it might not be inexpensive either. But it's worth a look...it's the right time of year for them to have stuff like that out.

I think I figured it out, and you had a baby in January, yes?
If so, the rest is for you.

I'm glad you didn't accept the epidural. I had 48 hours of strong labor without any meds at all (they kept telling me it was false labor, I would be going home soon, and quit being a baby about a little cramping), and it seemed like forever at the time, but after hearing what has happened to my daughters and friends
(C sections all over the place) I'm glad it toughed it out. Yes, it is only one day (or two), and it is possible to endure just about anything, even a toothache, for a day or two.

BTW: The pitocin and/or the antibiotics could have set the baby up for seizures.

Thank you for adding another possible source to my list.
