Your course sounds really cool! But I can see why you'd procrastinate anyway :)

oh it's really interesting!
I'm just not sure how it all fits into a markable piece of work.

but i've started writing up the three companies i got e-interviews with into case studies and then hopefully i'll have about half of it
and then i can use the other half of my word limit to look at the general trends the climate, the conflicting ideas of mass market spec fiction and 'real' spec fiction and why these independent publishers have popped up, what's allowed them to and what they hope to achieve for the genre.

i'm hoping it will be more or less article-y at the end of it so i can condense it and try to publish it

BUT FIRST I GOTTA WRITE IT!

(i've also met awesome people who tell me about awesome gatherings/groups/conventions/anthologies/works/webzines and it's like I WANNA BE HAVING FUN WITH FICTION!!)
