Sue has the Hammer House of Horror box set, 13 hour long films for TV made in the early eighties. We watched 'Children of the Full Moon' the other week, it was great in a cheesy way. A couple on their honeymoon have a mysterious car crash and stumble upon a house in the woods inhabited by Diana Dors and all her creepy, Victorian era dressed children. What happens next I wonder. It also adds to the folklore of werewolves that they are quite fond of Mutton Broth. Hilarious. Looking forward to watching the others with titles such as 'The House that Bled to Death'.
I'm sure the Hammer TV movies have been on TV recently and I've missed them. That box set sounds great, though. Mighty tempting. Like a british Tales from the Crypt. My aunt mentioned 'The House that Bled to Death' today when I brought up Hammer, totally ruined it by telling me the twist. Bah.
