I feel Merlin's pain too, that pain is what prompted this fic XD I think everyone who has experienced archery has experienced some kind of pain. But, as in most cases, it's worth it ;) You're right, Merlin is lucky Arthur has the right attitude.

I've seen archery fics, but not about the actual assembling of the equipment, which can be just as eventful :D I'm so glad you found it a little different. Robin Hood is awesome and, of course, associated with archery. They botched it up so much in the show that it sort of makes me clench my fists and remind myself, hey, it's just a show. It means a lot to me that you got something out of the descriptions.

It was so much fun to write, and your reaction is exactly what I was hoping to generate. I feel like a tease. Poor Merlin left on the spot. Still, he's got something to look forward to!
