Sorry, running behind on all of that. Fannish enabling coming right up.
Yeah, they do need more women. But most of the women on the show are daft pop princess with no personality whatsoever, so I almost prefer it when there are no women there. If it weren't so much fun watching Simon attack the pop princesses. +g+ So Davina was a nice change. :D
sorry, i didn't mean to be so ruse about it. thank you for all your fannish enabling! you made me crave my weekly dose of simon! whatever will i do in january!
daft pop princesses are not women, but an insult to actual women, they do not count! the show needs more women. the problem with simon mocking the daft pop princesses is that most of the time they don't even GET what he's implying. like the show with germaine greer (sp?) on, who was absolutely wonderful. but the australian pop princess? the most poignant moment was when simon turned to germain greer and said with a sad face: it's like it's all been for nothing.
what i really liked about davina was that she was totally into it. i fail miserably at the intros round, but with her i didn't care, i wanted it to go on and on because she was so much fun to watch...
by the way: i was thinking we should start an internet movement that promotes simon in the bunny costume as cure for all ills. you had a rough day? poor dear, have a simon in a bunny suit...
Josh Groban, oddly enough, is almost perfect Team Captain material. He even outshone Omid Djalili. And poor Man Whose Name I Can't Remember from Feeder who managed about two sentences during what was everything but an officially named Josh Groban Show.
♥ Josh Groban. Didn't even know he existed till Friday but now I wish he'd come and live over here and host his own show and attend panel games and generally be awesome.
Bill Bailey will be missed FOREVER. No one could replace him in my heart (haha) but, yeah, Noel Fielding and Davina were good.

As for new Team Captain my vote is going for James Corden (or Noel or Russell of course... A girl can dream.)
