The actor, who plays Seth in the popular teen drama, insists he would not be embarrassed about smooching with another guy if the show required it.
Brody's comments come after the show's creator, Josh Schwartz, joked about Seth and McKenzie's character Ryan secretly having the hots for each other.
Brody told B Magazine: "I don't think he's joking. Every scene I read we seem to be getting closer and closer. Let's do it, man"
Meanwhile, the hunk has refused to talk about his relationship with co-star Rachel Bilson - who play's Seth's on/off girlfriend Summer in the series.
He said: "All I'll say is my puppy, Penny, has a mommy now."
The pair have been dating since the show started three years ago.
