I began to write Mr Rambo some emails a few months ago, because I heard from other people that he responds to most of them. Well, he never answered my emails,... until now. =)
I wrote an email about the "Nick steps up" spoiler and that I think that after everything he has been through "It's about time that his work will be recognized, he deserves it ( Read more... )

I'm really hoping for a much more balanced/fair season concerning the characters.

Yeah, me too. But I could live with it, if we wouldn't get any more Greg or GSR drama. =)

I don't want to sound mena or anything, but I have quiteb a few friends who all wrote to him or one of the other people. They wrote about all sort of things like complaining about Cath drama, or GRS, or ships in general, and strangly they all got the same response you did: I think you'll enjoy the new season...
I have the suspicion that is just waht they tell everyone. So everyone is happy, or something like that =) But still... as usual, I hope you are right or that guy at least.

*lol* No problem, I'm also not buying his "I think you'll enjoy the season". He said the same think to Grillows and GSR fans and last season he wrote that we would enjoy the season finale.
I know that he has to say that, I mean if he would tell me "Oh, I'm sorry, but we won't deal with Nick this season, maybe next year" then I wouldn't even bother to watch CSI anymore. *lol*

I'm just "happy" that he finally replied to my emails. I was so angry to see that so many GSR and Grillows fans got and email from him, but not me. I wanted to let him know that CSI isn't only about some lovestories and GSR, Grillows; that there are also fans out there who care about Nick!

I hope that this will be a Nick season.

Yeah, I think the "I think you'll enjoy the season" was the same old party line - much like the crap they are all forced to say in interviews, but I thought tha what was more important was what he said about George.

George Eads has been giving outstanding performances, really helping Nick's character mature and take on more responsibility.

I espeicially liked the "outstanding performances" part.

I was happy and a little surprised that he really replied to my mail. Now, he knows that it isn't only about GSR and Grillows.
And I won't stop with my Nickmails. =)

The proof will be on the screen. From the spoilers posted so far, a couple of episodes look promising. But the November sweeps episodes spoiled so far seem to have minimal Nick mentions.

If we're going to get some Nick, I'd like it to be in a sweeps episode or two just as Greg's court case got last November.

Gum Drops came just before the sweeps in November 2005 and Kelly Gordon's return just after. Daddy's Little Girl aired in January, again, before February 2006 sweeps.

On the other hand, I think Nesting Dolls was a sweeps episode as was Empty Eyes, both Sara stories.

That's the frustrating thing about being a Nick fan. We know he does fantastic work, but really the only Nick-in-sweeps episode I can remember recently IS Grave Danger.

Time for another!!!

The spoilers sounds very promising, but I still don't think that I'll be totally happy with this season. The thing is that I miss the GD fallout and I really hope that they'll bring this up in form of PTSD. Maybe they could build this up through the whole season and Nick will have a big breakdown in one of the last episodes and then the 9th season will deal with it... Well, I can dream, right? *lol*
And I hope he'll get a story arc, like Greg did last year, because I don't want a heavy "Nicksode" (Stalker, GD, GD2) again. That's not enough and we can be sure that none will mention this again.
It's really frustrating to be a Nick fan, but maybe we have luck this season. =)

First I want to tell you I think it's really cool you keep writing to him. That's a lot of dedication. I already gave up on that, but you carry the torch for us Nick fans out there :) I'm proud of you *hugs*
And in case the new season disappoints you Nick-wise, get back to David Rambo. I mean - you have written proof now! ;-)

I almost gave up writing him, because it made me angry to see that so many other NON-Nick fans got emails from him, but he kinda ignored my emails.
But now I won't give up, I'll write more emails (not each day, but when I think it's necessary =))

Good on you! But to be pretty realistic, I bet praising (insert related actor's name) is part of the template. You can just imagine fixed lines like, say for Marg, "Marg has always brought sophistication and sas to her role as Catherine Willows". Thanks for representing us Nick fans!

Psst: Can you tell me where you download your CSI episodes from? I'd really like to watch Dead Doll (great, great Nicky scenes, surprisingly). If it's, let say not legally approved, could you send me a private message? *g*
