I'm kind of surprised by Winry's reaction, specifically because she holds Garfield in such high confidence (unless she thinks he's disgusting, too, which I doubt) and since she seemed to have resigned herself to letting go of Ed and having a new start.

Poor Ed. I hope he can start coming to grips with his anger towards Al. Seems they will have a lot of work to do...

What I've observed over the years is that women sometimes will behave one way with a very effiminate man--but a very masculine gay man makes them uncomfortable. Garfiel's like her old auntie--but Ed was her image of the dashing, brave, brash young male with the beautiful body--nothing girlish about him. Now she finds he's been unfaithful with another man--that's a blow to her femininity. Ed wasn't sexually interested in her for the most part--and yet he admits going willingly to the bed of another man--it was just a gut punch and it triggered her anger over what she's been through. She's not thinking straight--and neither is Ed,

Well hon, that right there should've told you he wasn't right for you.

Looks like they both need to calm down and get some perspective before they make any decisions - although it looks like neither is inclined to to that unless someone makes them.

Poor poor Ed ;_; Though I'm sorry for this but not, Al deserves Ed going after hm. SHE ALMOST KILLED ED AND IS THREATENNG TO TAKE THE KIDS AWAY AND HE WILL STILL TAKE THAT FUCKING BITCH'S SIDE MOVER ED'S OR AT LEAST DEFEND. No just No, he deserves ed being pissed and winry deservs that threat because she needs to realize she almost fucking killed someone. Great chater though :)

Right now everybody's enotions are so raw...Al had no idea this would hurt Ed so much--Ed didn't know confessing his male lover would hurt Winry so much...and Winry didn't know blowing up at Ed and lashing out wold hurt Ed so much...And I believe I just got called a "hater" for this chapter on one of the boards...I can see this chapter pissed a lot of people off--but in all honestly--the ugliness comes out when everything's pent up inside...

Good freaking grief -_- I understand why Winry was upset but that's too be expected. I'm sure a male would be upset if he thought he had turned his wife/ girlfriend whoever, gay, like Winry did. I'ms till so very pissed at her but I understand. Though when Al heard what Ed was saying, he should have realized that once again his beloved wrench throwing princess was being horrible to ed. She over reacted yes, but regardless, he should realize that ed is going to see it asa blow to hm when al is defending winry when she's being horrible. Instead Al feels as f ed should apologize t winry and that is what made me mad. Noit you, but the way it played out but I can see it playing it out like that since AL would always take her side.... So I'm just mostly mad at how I knew it'd play out, not you. I thinjk it's a great chapter :)

Oh, I knew that, hon--this was the Shit Hits The Fan chapter....Al doesn't believe the wrench slinging was right either--but he tends to believe it's 'just her way' and doesn't realize it's a deeper sympton of lack of self control...I'll be touching on what turned her like this in the next episode...
