Odd Farscape Thought out of Nowhere

Dec 09, 2003 11:35

This morning, when I sat at the breakfast table, my mind still cozily wrapped in various layers of drowsiness, I had the oddest Farscape thought occuring seemingly out of nowhere.

Supposed, there is a crossover universe between Farscape and Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, which member of the Endless would each Farscape character be most likely to ( Read more... )

oh, what an intriguing line of thought! selenak December 9 2003, 05:21:02 UTC
Agreed with your choices, though I think Despair was probably waiting for Aeryn at other times as well. But around Choices, they practically lived next door to each other.

Hm, let's see for some of the others:

Zhaan: Destiny, during Blue Raphsody.

Scorpius: Death. He saw her repeatedly; as a boy already, then when he killed Tauza, then in the grave when he got buried alive (she stood next to Sikozu and he wasn't sure which of the two heard him).

Chiana: Surprisingly, not Desire but Delirium. In The Return of Durka, before she got out of her cell.

you knew, of course, that this was the best possible way to get me interested ;-)

Our friend Harvey could have a nice adventure with death, could't he? With his head having hung over a bowl of foaming acid ...

this came to me while lying in the bath tub:

How would Crichton nickname the eternals?

For desire he would go for Daisy I guess, but what about the others?

And what would they say? ;-)

And I do not go along with you having Dream for Rygel. I would reserve Dream for Moya and / or pilot. This would make a fine story.

(Also Crichton lodging in Desiere's place would be nice ...)

(btw. even more panicked)

Oh, good one - especially as I finished the final installment of the Sandman on the weekend and have been thinking along these lines already.

All right - I thought Harvey would be a good one to meet dream, especially as existing in John's head as he does, he seems to be one of Dream's creatures already.

Scorpius, Death (though surely he has been cheating death for a long time now!) but also ... Desire? Because it's his desires, for revenge, for wormholes, which have been driving him.

Stark, of course, is an old friend of Delirium. *g*

And an even older friend of Death. I suspect they're on a first-name basis. Or would be, if either of them had a first name.

Oh, hell. That thought -- which I've idly entertained before, actually -- is now showing signs of growing into a plotbunny, which I really do not need! *beats it down firmly with a big stick*
