GO TO PRACTICE MORE OFTEN! ;D I get what you mean about being scared to scrimmage. But just remember how it feels after a few jams in, a little less nerve racking. And like you said on my entry, going to practice helps you get better! And scrimmaging is still practice, not like it counts towards rankings or anything! :) And I kinda know how it feels being intimidated by the other skaters. Our league isn't too big, maybe 40 or so active skaters? So there are a lot of times where us newbies end up scrimmaging side by side with the A team skaters. I feel like I'm completely useless and going to screw things up, but it's only practice. ANDDDD... the more you go, the more everyone else gets to know you. :)
Holidays are awesome! I think it is totally worth it if it's somewhere you really want to go, or somewhere new and exciting.
The charm bracelet thing sounds a lovely idea!
The Roller Derby thing, it sounds like one of those ideas one gets into one's head and then you can't shake it off. If you make yourself go more, then maybe that will help to confront the fear? You'll be putting yourself in the situation you're scared of? It sucks your brain keeps telling you it's ALL YOUR FAULT if your team loses, though. That's not helpful at all.
