That is so John! I was nodding so furiously through all of this that I looked like one of those bobble-head toys. You've captured him perfectly, and I love the little twist at the end. Fantastic job, really! This is going in my memories!

Loved this.
I've always loved Rodney more, but this really opened Sheppard John up for me.
I am always looking for a way to get over my shallow impression of him - flyboy hero type - to something more to understand him and this fic was spot on.
Thank you for sharing, and giving me more reasons to love John as much as Rodney obviously does *g*

I'm very tempted to add it to the Long List Of WIPS And Sequels. It may have to wait a little, cause I'm still not sure I've got a good grip on John, and any sequel would be very John-centric. I want to, though!
