Having a LJ rethink before this things dies for good. Unfriending and sorting all this out... maybe then i will update.

although if you are going to be here again it may spur me to do the same. But up until now too many people have been disappearing for me to have the inclination to stay around.

I think social networking is a at a junction and looks like going back to how it was. Facebook is very good although it's getting muddled these days and with people's friends lists spiralling out of control I doubt many people read everything anyway.

Twitter is good for news etc but once again people don't get to know each other on there like a blog.

Live Journal was always better so far as mutual interaction goes but I think the UI is still poor. But you meet real people on here (this is how I came to meet you) so it's worth the effort I guess.
