oooo baskin robbins. I need a job pretty badly too.. but my schedule wont really open up until around feb./march.
A good book to read is THe Stranger by Albert Camus. it's a weird book but if you really read into it it's amazing. Or read Catch-22 which is what im reading right nwo.. it's really long but it's good. if you ever need book suggestions just ask your resident nerd (me. :\ )
by the way. you were SOOO supposed to hang out with us like.. 2 days ago. :(
I'll get on it, I'm glad you're so into books! I need someone who can constantly suggest, but it looks like you've listed plenty to keep me busy for a while.
-A Language Older Than Words by Derrick Jensen is a super interesting look into how humans fuck up the earth, but it's written in the form of a personal essay. He has an AMAZING literary voice (Masters in creative writing from Northwestern!) and has done decades worth of research. -On the Road by Jack Kerouac, though fiction, is classic. It's one of those books that EVERYONE should have in their book collection (and not just for show!). One of my all-time favorites. -Life of Pi (also fiction) is soooo amazing. It's intellectual fiction and has a lot of neat parallels. I just finished it and LOVED it. -Fast Food Nation is always an interesting read. Can't go wrong with that.
