I am too stubborn to execute that last paragraph of yours, I guess -- I only apologize when it's called for, otherwise I feel like I'm doing the person a disservice by not calling them on their own bullshit and allowing them to continue on, deluded.

Also, people who are so far away from understanding something that it's not even worth trying to explain are totally exhausting.

In my 36 years of life, this kind of BS has taught me only one thing: Act stupid as often as you can tolerate. It's my M.O. and, without fail, whenever I slip up on this strategy and reveal that I'm actually thinking behind these vacant eyes, I get clipped.

(For the record, if someone started going down the "white man is opressed" route with me, I wouldn't have been able to keep it down.)
