I've recently become fascinated with Taylor Swift. Well, that's not exactly right. Not specifically her. I've become fascinated with trying to put my finger on why Taylor Swift doesn't annoy me. I found that really interesting -- I would love to see you publish it somewhere, especially your thoughts on dominant culture as opposed to domination.

I hate Wes Anderson, even though I loved "Pushing Daisies," because it's so freaking WASP twee. Hated Whit Stillman for the waspiness. I don't know if it's a Jew thing or not.

i liked reading this.

interested to hear more about performative whiteness. i googled it but am coming up with incomprehensible academic papers that i am not smart enough for.

i can't stand wes anderson.

broad city is another example of people on a show having interracial relationships and it not being a big thing (imo, anyway).

All so-called identity is performative.

Taylor Swift still bugs the shit out of me. (Although I admit I watched the documentary about her sending secret santa gifts to her fans and I felt like I liked her for two minutes).
