I know it's a lousy way to pick a president, but it recently occurred to me that not only is this the first president within spitting distance of my age, but it's also the first I'd like to have a beer with. Although I'd prefer a bourbon.

I don't understand all the controversy about Michelle's dress. She's the only first lady I've ever seen who looks like she wore something that wasn't picked out for her by committee.

I actually like it, although it would have been way more flattering without the cardigan. It's so nice to see someone pick a designer not catering to 65-year-old country club ladies.

It was so unflattering and hideous, but sometimes you take risks and they backfire. Also "hideous" is relative to her gorgeous potential which is amazingly high. Also might've just been the unfortunate addition of the cardigan and the lighting.

I'm so in love with our new first family. I've had a huge girl crush on Michelle since I saw her speech at the DNC. She effing rocks. And I just swoon over them as a couple. They literally make my heart flutter.
