Bill great 8mm film transfer to DVD blog there my friend! Thanks for the mention and kind words! Glad everything worked out on your film transfer project. The YouTube video showing the side by side comparison of your home film transfer off the wall method vs our frame by frame was quite a difference, albeit, not a bad effort on your side, ironically your home made method was ten times better than I’d say 70% of the self confessed ‘professional’ film transfer companies in the USA.
As for the other 8mm movie films you have yet to transfer, let me know what you still need converting and we’ll take care of you. By the looks of your picture, you have some nice black and white regular 8mm there, b&w 8mm comes out real nice! You or anyone mentioning the ‘baker blog’ we’ll omit the set up fee and include free chapter points on any 8mm, Super 8 or 16mm silent film transfer to DVD

All the best!

Yup one of the first places I checked and interviewed was Cosco, I mentioned that Costco does transfers as well the problem is the they use the condenser box method; which is okay but not great. Frame by Frame scan is the best and I'll bet that if you would have contacted gotmemories it would not have been that much more. But its fun to do it yourself too!
